Office Management Technology specialization is offered at Associate Degree level. This specialization is aimed to prepare students to work as support personnel for supervisors, officers or managers in the field of office management as a whole or in key areas such as secretarial finance and human resource management. The program helps students to gain an understanding of working of functional areas of management (Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, etc.). Moreover, it develops the different skills needed to work in the capacity of secretary in different departments. Verbal communication, problem solving, typing and word processing, and analytical skills are developed and enhanced during the course of the entire associate degree. In office management specialization we also focus on skills related to answering telephone calls, filing and retrieving documents, typing of letters and reports, preparing outgoing mails, collecting, sorting and distributing incoming mails, photocopying, using different types of office materials and office equipment, office safety etc.

* The cooperative program is a structured educational strategy, integrating the theoretical knowledge learned in the classrooms and laboratories with real world experiences. A COOP student is required to undertake 14 continuous weeks of internship which is of a practical nature and relevant to the chosen field of specialization. The student is required to submit progress reports and, on finishing, submit a final report and give a presentation on the experience and knowledge gained during the training. The college collaborates with the employer to make the COOP program a success.
