Quality Department

The EDCI defines quality, as its ability to deliver on the promises it makes to its stakeholders. Quality is a multi-dimensional concept that embraces all of the institution's functions and activities: teaching and learning, resources and equipment, faculty and staff development, student services, infrastructure, and engagement with the community. Assuring and enhancing quality is a process of rigorous and honest self-evaluation coupled with an external review, conducted openly by independent specialists, and if possible with international expertise.

The Quality Department plays a key role in the EDCI by developing and implementing a broad range of quality assurance and improvement mechanisms in all academic and administrative units, assessing performance in all areas of institutional activity, enforcing regulations that determine how work is efficiently implemented, in addition to measuring and evaluating performance against proven standards.
